Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making health insights accessible to everyone

Last updated: 7 March 2026

1. Our Commitment

PRÆTOR is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

We believe that professional health insights should be available to everyone, regardless of ability or disability. This commitment is core to our mission and informs every design and development decision we make.

2. Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including:

  • Visual impairments, including blindness, low vision, and colour blindness
  • Hearing impairments, including deafness and hard of hearing
  • Motor impairments, including limited fine motor control
  • Cognitive impairments, including learning disabilities and memory difficulties

3. What We Do

To ensure accessibility, we take the following measures:

  • Use semantic HTML to provide meaningful document structure
  • Provide text alternatives for non-text content
  • Ensure sufficient colour contrast ratios throughout the platform
  • Support keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
  • Use ARIA labels and roles where appropriate to assist screen readers
  • Design responsive layouts that work across devices and screen sizes
  • Avoid content that flashes or strobes
  • Provide clear, consistent navigation throughout the platform

4. Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the platform may have limitations:

  • Health report charts: Interactive biomarker charts may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide equivalent data in tabular format alongside all charts
  • PDF reports: Downloadable health reports may have limited accessibility. The same information is available in accessible format on the platform
  • Third-party content: Some embedded third-party services (payment processing, authentication) may have their own accessibility limitations outside our direct control

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all areas of the platform.

5. Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our platform is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation

We recommend using the latest versions of browsers and assistive technologies for the best experience.

6. Feedback and Reporting Issues

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of PRÆTOR. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

When reporting an accessibility issue, please include:

  • The page or feature where you experienced the issue
  • A description of the problem
  • The assistive technology you were using (if applicable)
  • Your browser and operating system

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 working days and to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible.
